Privacy · Local-first by default
MileProof is designed as a local-first mileage, receipt, expense, and tax-record app.
For v1, MileProof stores trip records, route details, receipt images, expenses, income entries, reports, backups, and privacy-safe diagnostics on your device by default. MileProof does not sell location data, does not show ads, and does not use advertising identifiers.
MileProof may access location, motion, camera, photo library, calendar, contacts, notifications, and Face ID only when you grant the relevant iOS permissions or use the related features. Permission-dependent features continue to offer local fallback paths where feasible.
Support emails are user-initiated. If you email support, your message, sender email address, and any details you include may be used to respond to your request. If you choose “Email support with diagnostics,” MileProof adds a redacted local diagnostics summary to the email body.
You can export backups and delete app data from Settings > Privacy Center. Deleting app data removes local MileProof records and app-owned local files from this device.
